The Knotwood gate frame uses a unique corner stake combined with a cold weld epoxy to create a corner that has 184kg per square cm (2600lbs per square inch) of holding power! Making it stronger than welding. It requires no specialized equipment allowing you to do it yourself!
Like all Knotwood systems the gate uses a concealed fastening system which hides unsightly screws and rivets. Our aluminium gates systems offers the latest styles with the ability to install the aluminium slats vertical, horizontal or diagonal, use any size spacing between fence slats and the ability to install the slats on an angle to create a adjustable louvre style and maximum airflow while maintaining privacy.

Exploded View
Sliding Gate Install
1. Cut gate frame (KWGF6640).
2. Mitre gate frame (KWGF6640) corners 45 degree.
3. Insert corner stake (KWGFCS).
4. Connect gate frame with corner stake (KWGFCS) and fix to gate frame (KWGF6640).
5. Install slats NOTE: You can use any size Knotwood slat with or without spacers.
6. Screw slats to gate frame (KWGF6640).
7. Clip on infill. (KWINFS).
8. Router holes for gate wheels.
9. Screw U channel (KWU2020) and gate joiner (KWGFGJ) to bottom rail (KWR8040).
10. Insert end caps (KWEC8040).
11. Attach 2 part slat (KW2P3816A/B) to support spans over 2m.
12. Attach wheels (KWGFSP).
13. Install on gate track (KWGFSP).
Hinged Gate Install
1. Cut gate frame (KWGF6640).
2. Mitre gate frame ((KWGF6640) corners 45 degree.
3. Insert corner stake (KWGFCS).
4. Connect gate frame with corner stake (KWGFCS) and fix to gate frame (KWGF6640).
5. Install slats NOTE: You can use any size Knotwood slat with or without spacers.
6. Attach top gate frame (KWGF6640) profile.
7. Screw slats to gate frame (KWGF6640).
8. Clip on infill (KWINFS).
9. Attach hinges (KWASTH).
10. Attach post (KWB6565) to wall. NOTE: drill pilot hole.
11. Insert end caps (KWEC6565) (KWEC10).
12. Attach hinges (KWASTH) to post.
